With a temperature range suitable for most industrial applications, butyl rubber is not recommended for petroleum solvents, coal tar, or aromatic hydrocarbons. It is supplied in 36-inch wide rolls with thicknesses from 1/32″ to 2″ and durometers between 30 and 80, making it adaptable for gaskets, diaphragms, and lining systems.
